Stressing the Core is the place where all of these passions have come together: the core of the body, mind, spirit, and the core of teaching. Here the word “stress” means to emphasize with a noted departure from the negative impact of stress on our physical and mental states as is so often a result of our profession.
Leslie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with the Yoga Alliance after completing of Breathe for Change YTT in Madison, WI in July 2017. She has used breathing, meditative, and movement exercises in her classroom to redirect energy and promote wellness with students since she started teaching.
In her spare time Leslie enjoys kayaking, gathering with family and friends, traveling to Japan, and dabbles in crochet.
